The Classic Scavenger Hunt takes visitors on a one-of-a-kind, interactive tour of Old Key West. Anyone can join in these excursions to compete against other teams, or play for points and attempt to win one of many fabulous prizes.

Keep in mind, this is not your traditional scavenger hunt - there is no simple collecting of matchbooks, postcards, or coasters! Teams will each receive a scroll full of creative clues and riddles that will lead you to famous, and sometimes quirky, Key West locations. Along the way, you'll discover fun facts, interesting trivia, and learn about Key West's history. Each clue will give your team an answer which will give you points and of course there’s a surprise twist or two along the way! Earn the most points for your team and the reward is yours.

The Scavenger Hunt is a great way to explore the downtown part of Key West and is designed to be completed on foot. The area covered is about a 4-5 block radius. The event ends at a final location where the winners will be announced and prizes awarded during an exciting wrap up. You can win anything from dinner gift certificates, bar tabs, free drinks, or even fun Key West souvenirs.

Hours of operation

These regular hunts are normally scheduled every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and begin at 12 noon. *Check-in at 11:45am.

The event lasts approximately 2½ hours.

Policies Groups of any size can join the fun, but teams must be between 2 to 5 people. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
