Speaking of architecture you’ll be blown away by the imposing Neo-Gothic Cathedral of La Plata, the largest church in Argentina. Continuing our drive through a diagonal layout of city streets, visit the Argentinean Theatre followed by the National University of La Plata.

Our first stop at the University is the Astronomical Observatory, positioned in the perfect location and region of the world to observe the transit of the planet Venus across the Sun.

Then visit the University’s La Plata Natural Science Museum, the most important museum of its kind in South America. Inaugurated in 1888, this scientific wonder hosts a collection of over 2 million objects and species from a various number of disciplines including: Paleontology, Anthropology, Geology, Botany and Zoology. Discover Argentina inside out through the wealth of objects collected from around the country and leave with a deeper understanding.
