Highlights / General details

What are you waiting for? The time is now to set sail on an adventure you will remember for the rest of your life. Launched in 1885, the 127 year-old schooner Pioneer was built as an iron-hulled sloop to carry cargo along the Delaware River. Enjoy spectacular views, sunsets and let the wind blow through your hair aboard this historic vessel. The Pioneer is also an ideal vessel for private charters, groups and film shoots. You may recognize the Pioneer from the pilot episode of the HBO series, Boardwalk Empire.
