75-minute River and Lake Architectural Tour Seadog Chicago's River and Lake Architectural Tour is the only tour to take you from the lakefront, through the locks and along the Chicago River all the way to the famous Willis Tower! Departing from Navy Pier, this 75-minute architecture cruise is the best way to get up-close to all of Chicago’s most famous buildings and unique architecture. It combines amazing views, entertaining narration and an exciting ride along the lakefront. Welcome aboard – Woof!

Hours of operation

Available: March 31 to May 22 and September 2 to October 31; Sails: Monday – Sunday at 12:15pm, 2:15pm, 4:15pm, 6:15pm, 8:15pm. (Note: There are no 6:15pm architectural tours on any Friday, Saturday & Sunday in October). May 23 – September 1; Sails: Monday – Sunday at 12:15pm, 2:15pm, 4:15pm, 6:15pm, 8:15pm, unless noted otherwise. (*Note: 10:15am additional cruise time available on Saturday and Sunday). On the day of your cruise, please check in at the ticket booth at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Additional Information We do not sell food or beverages on board but you are welcome to bring your own refreshments as long as there is no glass. The vessel is wheelchair accessible. However, you must inform the supplier of your specific needs at time of reservations. If Seadog Cruises cancels your cruise due to inclement weather, you may reschedule your cruise or receive a refund.

Participant restrictions

Seadog offers something for everyone. We do not, however, recommend cruising for those with cardiac conditions or orthopedic condition associated with the neck and back. It is also not recommended for women in late term of pregnancy. Children under 3 are complimentary and we offer a discount for children between 3 and 12.

Policies Dress Code: Dress down and be comfortable. These cruises are more relaxed and casual attire is fine. Shirts and shoes are always required. No bathing suits. City ordinances prohibit smoking aboard all Seadog Vessels. Rates are subject to change. Rates do not apply to specialty cruises or holidays. *Cruise schedules change often. Guests will receive sail time upon final confirmation.
