We’ll paint a vivid picture of our colorful past and people - see the secrets and tell the tales - the culture, crime and politics of Scotland's capital. An experience shared by Mercat historians.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily; Departs at 1:30pm (1 November 2014 – 31 March 2015). Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Location Tour departs from the Mercat Cross next to St. Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile. Finish point: Outside the World's End, St. Mary's Street.
