Originating at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, unobscured views and a mellow pace will ensure your visit to this beautiful city park is memorable. We take several short stops. If the guest needs to get off, we do but usually we don't. Your guide will point out Red Tail hawks, red necks, bird poop, eagles nests, billion year old geologic formations, exotic plants and wild life, unique caricatures hidden in the rocks and characters climbing on the rocks, Cultural history of the park and Colorado Springs, tall tales and true stories of the old west. You might get a bonus by getting rained on and possibly see a Cougar or Big Horn Sheep. And in the end all you remember is, the Segway is sweet.

No guests under the age of 14 are permitted. No guests over 230lbs or under 100lbs need to be pre-approved for the tours.

Additional information Memorial Day - Labor Day is the preferred season for this tour, although weather permitting the tour is available year round. Sturdy flat-soled shoes are required, NO HIGH HEELS, a light jacket or sweatshirt is recommended and helmets are required and will be provided. We do not recommend the tours for people who are unsteady on their feet. Guests should be able to walk up and down a set of stairs and nimbly jump off a curb without assistance. Guest will stand for 45 minutes to an hour and a half on the Segway. Not recommended for the elderly.

Policies All AOW guests are required to complete the Cone Zone adventure before being allowed to participate in any of the Segway tours we offer. Guests with prior Segway experience are still required to participate in the Cone Zone. The Segway is not a Toy. Reckless or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Troublesome guests will be asked to leave the tour without refund. Local office contact information will be printed on your voucher. If your hotel is not included in the pick up location, a central meeting location will be provided on your confirmation voucher.
