Host of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Whistler in combination with Blackcomb is the largest ski area in North America with 8171 acres (3307 ha) of terrain, 200 trails, and 12 bowls. The resorts are 54% larger than the next largest ski resort, and if comparing the resorts individually, Whistler and Blackcomb each still remain in the top 5 of largest resorts. Whistler comprises 4757 acres (1925 ha) of terrain and has a 5020 foot (1530 m) vertical drop.

Connected by a lively pedestrian village at the base of the mountains and the Peak to Peak Gondola near the top, Whistler and Blackcomb mountains are very accessible to skiers and riders. The pedestrian village at the base of the resort contains 200 shops, 130 restaurants and bars, 110 hotels, and plenty of entertainment.

ADULT SKI PACKS: Excellence Ski - The latest and greatest equipment reserved for confident skiers. Excellence equipment is made for higher speeds and variable terrain. Economy Ski - Easy to turn and forgiving. Equipment made for a more cautious skier who feels more comfortable at slower speeds and easy terrain.

ADULT SNOWBOARD PACKS: Excellence Snowboard - The latest and greatest equipment reserved for confident snowboarders. Excellence equipment is made for higher speeds and variable terrain. Discovery Snowboard - Intended for the beginner to advanced snowboarder. Quality equipment for those who are looking to explore less demanding terrain such as groomed trails.

JUNIOR SKI PACKS: Junior/Kid Ski - A basic children's ski made to explore less demanding terrain. A junior ski is for a child new to the sport or for those who want to advance their skills. Reserved for children 6 - 11 years.

JUNIOR SNOWBOARD PACK: Junior/Kid Snowboard - A basic children's snowboard made to explore less demanding terrain. A junior snowboard is for a child new to the sport or for those who want to advance their skills. Reserved for children 6 - 11 years.
