This is our original tour and the one that made us famous with five incredible ziplines joined by a network of suspension bridges, boardwalks and trails. Stunning aerial vistas over Fitzsimmons Creek complete your eco-adventure. This tour is perfect for families, groups, and those who have never ziplined before.

Ziptrek Ecotours is located in Whistler, British Columbia and covers over 33 acres of diverse terrain (old growth rain forest, second growth rain forest, steep cliff faces and lush forest floor) spanning between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and over the Fitzsimmons Creek.

Non-Peak Tours: Want to avoid the rush? Take advantage of our non-peak Bear Tour and receive great savings on tours departing at 9:00am & earlier and those departing at 5:00pm & later (May - October) and 3:00pm & later (November - April).

Inclusion

4 ziplines, 4 treetop bridges; Access to zipline tour; Complimentary shuttle from Whistler Village; Harnesses and helmets will be provided. Rainwear, mitts and winter boots provided upon request.

Hours of operation

Tours operate every day of the year. There are several tour times available throughout each day. PEAK HOURS: 9:00am-3:00pm (November-April), 9:00am-5:00pm (May-October). NON-PEAK HOURS: earlier than 9:00am and later than 3:00pm (November-April) & 5:00pm (May-October). Guest Service Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm.

Duration

Approximately 2.5 – 3 hours. The voucher will be valid for the duration of the guest’s visit to Whistler.

Location Location address: Ziptrek Ecotours, 4282 Mountain Square, Whistler, BC V0N 1B4 All participants must arrive at the Sales Desk 15 minutes prior to the start of their tour to check in. Sales desk is located in the downstairs of the Carleton Lodge, Whistler Village, BC. You will find the Carleton Lodge at the base of Whistler Mountain across from the Whistler Gondola building.

Participant restrictions

Ziptrek has a minimum age of 6 years and a minimum weight requirement of 65lbs/30kgs and a maximum weight of 275lbs/125kgs. A tandem tour must be requested upon booking any children under 65lbs/30kgs. It is not recommended that people with heart, cardiovascular or respiratory illness take part in Ziptrek. Pregnant women are not permitted on Ziptrek. Guests should be prepared with any allergy medications they require. Guests should be informed that the tour includes some stair climbing and some hiking and to be prepared for light physical exertion. No smoking, drugs or alcohol are permitted on the tour at any time

Additional Information Participants should dress for the weather. Comfortable clothing and hiking boots or good athletic footwear should be worn. No open toed shoes. Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed on the tour for safety reasons. Guests should leave these items in their hotel room. Cameras are encouraged, providing they fit into a zippered pocket. Any loose items must be zipped into pockets prior to riding the zipline. Long hair should be held back with an elastic band.

Policies This tour has a minimum of 2 per tour. Every guest who participates on a tour is requested to read, and required to sign our standard Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Claims and Release of Liability Agreement. For guests under the age of 18, the Release must be signed by a parent or guardian. Guests under 15 must be accompanied by a guardian. Guests between 15 & 18 can come without a parent, but the parent/guardian must complete the Release of Liability form in advance. Ziptrek Ecotours is in no way obligated to complete a tour if one or more participants are found to be endangering themselves, others or the environment. Refunds will not be given in this situation.
