diana, princess of wales memorial fountain

Opened in 2004 by the Queen, this is a beautiful fountain in Hyde Park, built in the memory of Princess Diana.

The design attempts to symbolise Diana's life: water flowing, cascading, swirling, bubbling, before meeting in a calm pool at the bottom. The water is fresh as it's constantly being brought up from the London's underground water table. The fountain also symbolises openness: One can step into the heart of the fountain by using one of the 3 bridges that cut across.

I liked

I'm surprised The Queen liked Diana this much as to place a fountain her memory! A great place to relax and reflect on the life of Princess Diana.Very calming and beautiful surroundings.
