Dungeness is a headland on the coast of Kent in England and it's one of the largest expanses of shingle in the world. A unique variety of wildlife and fauna can be seen here, with more than 600 types of plant. It is one of the best places in Britain to find rare insects, some of them found nowhere else in Britain.
There are two nuclear power stations at Dungeness and a 169 steps lighthouse, which gives visitors an aerial view of the shingle beach.
