General

Built in 857, as the residence for the Royal House, the walls of this castle are the silent witnesses of Edward I, Henry V, Henry VIII.

Today it is an impressive museum, where visitors can discover some amaizing painting collections, upholstery and furniture, with century old pieces and still unbelievable well kept.

In the first hours of the morning, the castle is surrounded by a dense fog, but when it finally clears out, one can discover the vast gardens, rich in colours and of an incredible beauty. There is even a golf coarse, where amateurs or pros can show their skills.

By far, the most impressive tradition about this castle is the dinner organized in the Henry VIII banquet room, keeping all the British rules of elegance, this is a truly king worthy experience.
