The island is one of the more geographically diverse of the Society Group and the most interesting to explore.
Huahine actually comprises of two islands: Huahine-Nui (Big Huahine) and Huahine-Iti (Little Huahine). Connected by a bridge, both islands can be easily explored in a day or two.
There are many things that make Huahine stand out among the Society islands, but the most treasured ones are the peace and quietness that can be found here. Huahine is far less touristy than Moorea, Bora bora and Tahiti,so it's perfect for relaxing and spending some quiet time.
There are many long and beautiful white sandy beaches on the island, great for sunbathing and swimming in the azure waters.
