Ile aux Cerfs (Deer Island) lies on the east coast of Mauritius. Even though today there are not so many deers on the island, it's a big attraction for tourists who come here and spend a whole day. It has a very nice white sandy beach covering almost the entire surface of the island. There is also a five star hotel on the island, for those who want to spend more than one day. Boats depart from Trou d'Eau Douce each morning.
