The Island of Skye, situated off the West coast of Mainland Scotland, is the largest and best known of the Inner Hebrides. Famous for its mountain scenery and rich wildlife, the island is very popular among tourists. Some come just to admire the scenery, others to climb or walk in the Cuillin and the Quiraing.
Because it's such a popular destination, there are many craft shops and museums on the island, and tourists also have a large variety of sports to chose from: diving, canoeing, windsurfing, fishing and birdwatching.
