Getting there
By car
For the great variety of places to see around the availability of a car is recommended.
From Cagliari (Porto or Aeroporto Elmas)
Follow the signs to the highway to 4 lanes Iglesias (will cross Assemini-Decimomannu-Siliqua museum) - 2. After passing the exit to exit Museum DS Villamassargia-Carbonia - 3. At the traffic light Villamassargia a DS for Carbonia (4 lanes) - 4. Near Carbonia continue up and take the SS126 direction S. Antioco - 5. We will be on SS with various round exit Carbonia - straight ahead. - 6. Continue in the direction of San Giovanni Suergiu and cross it. - 7. Staying on the coast, after a detour to Porto Botte finish great bend slightly uphill and out of a DS on the SP73 (ref. Directorate Villarios-Cannigonis) - 8. Stay on the coast road SP73 to the bottom of the T Is Pillonis where there will be a DS for Porto Pino.
• Note: the shortest path are cross-mountainous part between Siliqua and Giba, very scenic with beautiful lakes, but a bit 'twisty.
Da Olbia (Porto or Aeroporto)- Porto Torres - Alghero
Follow the signs for highway 131 to 4 lanes for Cagliari 2. We pass Oristano 3. After passing the exit to exit Sanluri DS Samassi on SS197 4. Continue for Vallermosa and cross it. After about 500m from the end of the town at the fork to hold the DS (direz. Domusnovas) 5. After about 7km you will find a street on the SN with a small junction - turn SN 6. Near the junction with highway 130 to hold the DS in the direction Iglesias 7. After passing the exit to exit at Museum DS Villamassargia Carbonia-8. At the traffic light Villamassargia a DS for Carbonia (4 lanes) 9. Near Carbonia continue up and take the SS126 direction S. Antioco 10. We will be on SS with various round exit Carbonia - straight ahead. 11. Continue in the direction of San Giovanni Suergiu and cross it. 12.
