Fresno - Calico Ghost Town - Las Vegas
Today travel south through the great farmlands of the fertile San Joaquin Valley. It is the state's top agricultural producing region, sometimes called "the nation's salad bowl" for the great array of fruits and vegetables grown in its fertile soil. Calico ghost town will carry us back in time to an authentic silver mining town of the Old West. Carefully reconstructed to recreate the spirit of Calico's Old West past. Walk the streets and examine the lives of the period miners and townspeople. We leave California and travel to Las Vegas, Nevada “the entertainment capital of the world” Overnight Las Vegas.

Las Vegas - Grand Canyon
Leave the glitter of Las Vegas behind and we head to Arizona, “the Grand Canyon State ". It is the World's Seventh Natural Wonder. Carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau, It is more than an awe-inspiring view. As you gaze out from the rim, you're viewing 2 billion years of geologic history. Millions of people each year stand in awe at the canyon and leave with a sense of fulfillment and realization that they have witnessed nature at her finest. By arrival to the Grand Canyon Village, we will have free time to enjoy the views.

This morning, cross Glen Canyon Dam, the last of the major dams built on the Colorado River. View Lake Powell from the lookout point. It is the second largest man-made lake in the United States. Awesome in its dimensions and complexity, its desolate beauty makes it an experience never to be forgotten. We cross back to enter the Mormon State of Utah, to Bryce Canyon National Park. View thousands of delicately carved spires that rise in brilliant colors of red, yellow and orange, from the amphitheaters, along with towering cliffs, and rainbow-striped rock formations.
