The TV Tower is one of the most famous landmarks in Berlin and welcomes over 1.2 million visitors every year. It is located at the very heart of the city on the Alexanderplatz. At 368 metres, it’s the highest building in Germany and the second highest building open to the public in Europe. The observation deck is at a height of 203 metres and includes Berlins highest bar, the “Panorama bar”.

From 203 and 207 metres high you can look out over the entire city with its large number of tourist attractions: you can see the Reichstag (Parliament building), the Brandenburg Gate and the Main Railway Station from here, as well as the Olympic Stadium, the Museum Island (Museumsinsel) and the Potsdam Square (Potsdamer Platz).

Inclusion

The TV Tower is one of the most popular attractions in Berlin and, because it has limited space, there are often prohibitively long queues/lines to buy tickets. Purchase an Early Bird or Late Night ticket and enjoy access to the TV Tower without having to queue (wait in line) at the ticket office!

March to October: daily from 9am to midnight. November to February: daily from 10am to midnight. These times are subject to modification.

Policies There’s airport style security in order to gain access to the TV Tower panoramic floors. Access to Berlin TV tower is prohibited with food and beverage of any kind, animals of any kind, prams, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, large pieces of luggage, suitcases, trolleys, etc., weapons, dangerous substances (e.g. gas pressure vessels, glass bottles, fireworks, etc.), For security reasons, all visitors to the Berlin TV tower have agree to a bag check in order to gain access to the tower. Bags and large pieces of luggage can be stored free of charge at the order of the security staff. There is a strict smoking ban throughout the entire building of the Berlin TV Tower.
