Sunday. Rome
Upon arrival, check into hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight, a welcome dinner and an introduction by your tour escort. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 2:
Monday. Rome
After breakfast you’ll have a guided tour of Rome. Classic sites include: Trevi Fountain, the Lungotevere, Castle of St. Angelo and St. Peter’s Basilica. Afternoon free time at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 3:
Tuesday. Rome/Florence
After breakfast you’ll depart for Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance”, crossing some of Italy’s most beautiful regions, including Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany, before arriving in Florence at approximately noon. In the early afternoon, a local guide will introduce you to Giotto’s bell tower, Piazza della Signoria and many other timeless highlights. Dinner & overnight at your hotel in Florence.
Day 4:
Wednesday. Florence/Venice
After breakfast departure to Venice and check-in at hotel in Venice downtown. Free time at leisure for lunch or personal discoveries. In the afternoon you’ll take a private boat across the Giudecca Canal to Piazza San Marco to meet a local expert for a guided walking tour of the city, taking in the Palace of the Doges, the Bridge of Sighs and many other highlights, concluding at a glass factory. Free time at leisure for dinner on your own. Back to your hotel where overnight.
Day 5:
Thursday. Venice/Verona/Lake Maggiore
Breakfast is followed by departure for Verona, one of Italy’s most fascinating cities featuring a wide array of monuments and historic buildings, such as Romeo and Juliet’s balcony and the Roman Theatre. Depart for Stresa, boasting an incredible number of churches, piazzas, historical buildings, canals, restaurants & shops. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 6:
Friday. Lake Maggiore/Lugano (Switzerland)/Lake Maggiore
Breakfast is followed by a day-long excursion into the Alps and Switzerland. Skirting Lake Maggiore, you’ll pass Pallanza, Intra and Ghiffa before reaching Lugano, where you can enjoy leisure time shopping the elegant boutiques of Via Nassa or walking by the magnificent Civic Park. Return to Stresa/Baveno later in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 7:
Saturday. Lake Maggiore/Milan/Siena
Breakfast at hotel, then departure to Milan. Upon arrival enjoy a panoramic tour by bus. Departure to Siena passing through the splendid landscapes of Veneto, Emilia Romagna Tuscany regions. Arrival in Siena. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 8:
Sunday. Siena/San Gimignano & Chianti/Siena
After breakfast, departure for a full day guided tour across the beautiful Hills of Chianti. You will first reach San Gimignano, a picturesque, fascinating medieval town declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO and famous for its white wine, the world renowned Vernaccia. Then the tour will move to the Chianti area with its impressive picture-postcard landscape and, at a famous wine estate, you will taste the best Chianti red wine along with light lunch. In the afternoon you’ll go back to Siena to enjoy a walking tour of the city to admire the Dome (outside), the magnificent square known as Il Campo, where twice a year the Palio race is run on bareback horses. Back to hotel where dinner and overnight.
Day 9:
Monday. Siena/Assisi/Rome
After breakfast departure to Assisi, a great religious town significant of the life of St-Francis. Visit of the great Basilica with its magnificent paintings by Giotto, and of the interesting medieval city. Proceed to Rome, check into your hotel and overnight.

After breakfast transfer for your flight back home.
