On this double decker hop on hop off sightseeing tour you will discover Vienna’s rich history through our informative commentary. Each location has been carefully selected so that you are within easy reach of one of Vienna's key attractions or landmarks. Explore the sights at each stop for as little or for as long as you like. When you’re ready to continue your tour, hop-on any of our tour buses. You can hop-on and off as many times as you want within the validity of your 24 hour ticket.

Free Walking Tours: Get closer to the historical buildings in the Inner-Ring by taking one of our three different themed walking tours that are available daily with all ticket types.
Imperial Vienna – 10:30am: Witness the breath-taking buildings by the Habsburg family and learn about their secret life and fascinating stories. Along the way you will see the Sisi Museum, Spanish Riding School, Heldenplatz and Capuchin’s Crypt. Sound of Vienna – 12:00pm: This walk covers the music of Vienna, exploring the life of Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven and other great composers. You will be lead through the small streets in the heart of the city to discover the ballrooms and King of the Waltzes. 20th Century & Vienna’s Films – 1:30pm: View the city through the eyes of Otto Wagner (1841 – 1918) – the Austrian architect and urban planner, who made a lasting imprint on the appearance of his home town Vienna. Immerse yourself in the city’s stunning surroundings through the exciting filmography that’s been shot here including, Sissi, The Third Man and James Bond’s Living Daylights.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily. Red route departs every 20-30 minutes, 9:30am - 6:00pm. Schoenbrunn Blue Route departs every hour, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Walking Tours depart at 10:30am (Imperial Vienna Walk), 12:00pm (Sound of Vienna Walk), and 1:30pm (20th Century & Vienna’s Films Walk).

Duration

Vienna Day-Ticket is valid for 24 hours. Red Tour: approximately 90-100 minutes (without stops); Schönbrunn Blue Tour: approximately 85 minutes (without stops); Walking Tours: approximately 60 minutes.

Policies Danube Shopping Centre is not served between 11:30am and 5:40pm. The consumption of drink/food is prohibited on the buses.
