The Romanian Carpathians surround Transylvania, forming a defence wall around it. They offer different possibilities, from hiking trails to relaxing mountain resorts. The most famous are Predeal, Poiana Brașov, Sinaia, Azuga and this are just the big ones. If you'd rather spend some quality time in a nice little resort, rent a cabin and just enjoy the quietness, there are many small resorts, untouched by the modern world. Here you can take long walks in the forests and inhale some of that fresh air. Take advantage of your vacation to just simply rest.
