Under the lights at Daytona for the first time, the starting line-up for the 56th DAYTONA 500 is determined by these two action-packed, pulse-pounding, high-pressure races. The Budweiser Duel is NASCAR Sprint Cup Series preliminary event to the Daytona 500 held annually in February at Daytona International Speedway. It consists of two 150-mile (240 km) races, and serves as a qualifying race for the Daytona 500. The finishing order in the two 150-mile (240 km) races, determine the starting lineup for the Daytona 500.

Policies You may carry in soft drinks in a sided cooler that measures 14x14x14 inches or 2.700 cubic inches. All grandstands are now smoked free. We provide designated smoking areas with clearly marked signage throughout the property where fans who smoke may continue to do so. Please see an Usher or Grandstand Security officer for assistance with directions to the nearest Designated Smoking area.
