Our San Francisco Muir Woods Expedition is a fully-narrated semi-private tour. This is the Muir Woods tour that spends the most time in the forest! For about two hours. You’ll get to gaze up into the forest's canopy. Hike or walk through the forest as you admire some of the tallest redwood trees in the world. Our San Francisco Muir Woods Expedition also includes an optional stop at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge or Sausalito! At the end of this tour, we will drop you back off at your San Francisco Hotel or you can opt to take a ferry from Sausalito to Fisherman's Wharf. The City Insider’s tour portion is a 4 to 5 hour tour given by a local perspective. They will get to enjoy more stops and photo opportunities on this San Francisco city tour as well as more time at each attraction. This tour is great for those who want to discover hidden sights not included in other city tours or guide books! Guests are welcome to request areas that interest them. With the Sausalito & ferry upgrade, there will be a drop-off in Sausalito, where guests can spend as much time as they want to have lunch and to explore this seaside town full of boutique shops and art galleries.

Policies Muir Woods National Monument admission for an adult (16 years of age and older) is $7. Admission fees need to get paid by the guest directly when entering the park. All tours operate weather permitting. Please be ready at least 10 minutes prior to departure time. For children's safety, we require tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 6 years or weighing less than 60 pounds. Failure to provide a seat for your child will result in forfeiture of seats on the tour without refund. You must call EXTRANOMICAL ADVENTURES to confirm your pick-up time and location, at least 48 hours prior to tour date. Hotel pickups commence prior to this time, exact pickup time will be advised on reconfirmation. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
