Itinerary Day 1: MEXICO CITY Arrive in Mexico City, you will be met by an Olympus Tours Representative and transferred to your hotel for three nights. Overnight in Mexico City. (The Hotel in Mexico city is paid for by the client)

Day 2 & 3: MEXICO CITY See the best of both “Old and New” Mexico City on your sightseeing excursions. The Pyramids & Shrine of Guadalupe will take you through the entire complex of Aztec treasures, such as the Pyramids of the Sun & Moon, Temple of Quetzalcoatl and Palace of the Jaguars. En route we will visit the Shrine of Guadalupe, the 2nd second most visited religious shrine in the world. The half day Mexico City Tour includes the Metropolitan Cathedral, Chapultepec Park area, the National Palace, The Zocalo of Mexico and the Museum of Anthropology. Overnight in Mexico City (two nights).

Day 4: MEXICO CITY - MORELIA We will depart Mexico City and enjoy a comfortable journey through the colonial countryside beyond the capital, arriving in Morelia in time for lunch. On the way, we will visit the city of Toluca. Afternoon sightseeing in Morelia includes visits to the Cathedral, Church of Guadalupe and the Convent of the Roses. Overnight in Morelia.

Day 5: MORELIA / PATZCUARO This morning we’ll depart Morelia for a visit to Patzcuaro including the Island of Janitzio, known for the arts and crafts produced by local natives. Sightseeing also includes the Eleven Patios House and a visit to the market place known for its unique copperware. Overnight in Morelia.

Day 6: MORELIA - GUANAJUATO Early morning departure to Guanajuato. A former mining town, Guanajuato boasts one of Mexico’s finest Universities. Sightseeing includes a visit to the Marketplace, the Museum of Mexican Independence, Juarez Theater and the house of Diego Rivera. You will also have time to explore the Catacombs, one of the Guanajuato’s most famous attractions. In the evening, stroll through the charming streets and while enjoying the local music. Overnight in Guanajuato.

Day 7: GUANAJUATO - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE Depart Guanajuato for the morning drive to San Miguel de Allende. En route we will visit Dolores where Hidalgo proclaimed Mexico’s independence. Your guide will take you to the House of Hidalgo and Our Lady of Dolores Church. In the afternoon we will arrive in San Miguel de Allende, a colonial town famous for its support of the arts. We will visit the Institutes of Art, Church of San Miguel and Pozitos House, known for its cultivation and beautiful display of orchids. Overnight in San Miguel de Allende.

Day 8: SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - MEXICO CITY Early morning drive to Mexico City. Drop off at the International Mexico City Airport.

Additional Information Wear comfortable shoes; bring a light sweater or jacket, sunblock, a camera and cash.
