Visit the working museum of a Crakow Village, where time has seemingly stood still. Enjoy the atmosphere of village life and experience the lifestyle of peasants from centuries ago, as you explore their work and local customs. Take a stroll among orchards, flower gardens and 17th century wooden huts in this 5-hour tour of an open-air museum that re-creates the impression of traveling back in time. The picturesque site is home to 25 unique monuments of wooden architecture and a number of smaller pieces of historical importance. The museum comprises craft workshops, including a water mill, an oil mill, a wicker workshop and a small-town complex. Wander past the village inn and see the house of the village administrator. Discover rich folk décor and other examples of architecture typical of the area around the Vistula River. You will stroll past manor houses, a church with a bell tower and a village school, among other buildings, exploring rural Polish life in a lively atmosphere.
