Visiting the Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum is a memorable experience for people from all over the world.
Guests have a choice between the Reserve Ticket or Reserve with Pedestal/Museum Pass. Reserve Ticket option gives the visitor priority entry into the Security Screening Facility which saves you wait time at the departure point and, access to the grounds of Liberty Island and Ellis Island. The Reserve with Pedestal/Museum Pass ticket option allows visitors to go into the Statue of Liberty Pedestal, view the museum exhibit, a 45 minute audio tour, and see the interior structure of the Statue. There is no fee for a Pedestal/Museum Pass, but availability and entry times are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

Policies
Visitors to the Park are required to submit to airport style security screening before boarding vessels. Visitors to the Monument undergo additional security screening. All persons and property are subject to search on Liberty Island. All
items considered inappropriate or prohibited will be confiscated and retained by the United States Park Police. Large bags are not allowed on Liberty or Ellis Islands. Backpacks, strollers and large umbrellas are not permitted in the Monument. Food (even unopened) and drinks (including water) are not allowed inside the Statue of Liberty. All weapons are prohibited, including: Firearms, explosives or flammables, knives or sharp objects (including tools), pepper spray and mace.
Boat is wheelchair accessible.

There are concession stands on all the boats which sell healthy snacks and beverages, as well as merchandise.
