Discovery Cove® is an all-inclusive adventure in which guests enjoy a one-of-a-kind opportunity to swim with dolphins, rays and tropical fish and hand-feed exotic birds.

At Discovery Cove®, guests experience the most exciting animal encounters the world has to offer in a breathtaking tropical atmosphere. Discovery Cove® is a paradise of rocky lagoons surrounded by lush landscaping, tropical reefs, winding rivers, a resort-style pool complete with waterfalls, and pristine white-sand beaches.

Swim with dolphins and feel the mysterious, inspiring connection that draws you in and holds you captivated. Don a mask and snorkel in The Grand Reef®, a breathtaking underwater world teeming with thousands of exotic tropical fish and graceful rays. Take time to enjoy the songs and vibrant colors of birds from all over the world in the Explorer's Aviary. To complete your vacation experience, unlimited admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica, for up to 14 consecutive days is also included with your Discovery Cove® package.

Day Resort packages are available with and without the signature Dolphin Swim Experience.

Parking admission at our sister parks is not included.

Hours of operation

Discovery Cove® is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Guest check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Park opens earlier during peak seasons.

Policies Children must be at least 6 years old to swim with dolphins. Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who also is participating in the dolphin swim experience and be at least 15 years of age to visit Discovery Cove® without adult supervision. This policy was established to ensure the cognitive and physical stature of the child. These factors are taken into consideration to ensure children are able to interact in a group social setting, accept instructions, and understand the trainer. Also, the physical size of the child is taken into account since he/she will be in water that is approximately 3 feet deep with large, powerful animals. Please note: Specific date booked may not be confirmed. Guests will be asked for 2 alternative dates at the time of booking and will be informed of the confirmed date after reservation is made.
