Discovery Cove® is an all-inclusive adventure in which guests enjoy a one-of-a-kind opportunity to swim with dolphins, rays and tropical fish and hand-feed exotic birds.

At Discovery Cove®, guests experience the most exciting animal encounters the world has to offer in a breathtaking tropical atmosphere. Discovery Cove® is a paradise of rocky lagoons surrounded by lush landscaping, tropical reefs, winding rivers, a resort-style pool complete with waterfalls, and pristine white-sand beaches.

Swim with dolphins and feel the mysterious, inspiring connection that draws you in and holds you captivated. Don a mask and snorkel in The Grand Reef®, a breathtaking underwater world teeming with thousands of exotic tropical fish and graceful rays. Take time to enjoy the songs and vibrant colors of birds from all over the world in the Explorer's Aviary. To complete your vacation experience, unlimited admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica, for up to 14 consecutive days is also included with your Discovery Cove® package.

Day Resort packages are available with and without the signature Dolphin Swim Experience.

Inclusion

The all-inclusive “Ultimate Dolphin Swim Package” includes the following: self-parking, a dolphin swim session, food and beverages including a light continental breakfast and freshly prepared lunch, use of snorkel equipment, wet suits, towels and lockers and a pass to SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa and Aquatica Orlando valid for fourteen (14) consecutive days before or after the visit date to Discovery Cove. The “Ultimate Non-Dolphin Package” includes everything in the Ultimate Dolphin Swim Package, except the dolphin swim session.

Exclusion

Parking admission at our sister parks is not included.

Hours of operation

Discovery Cove® is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Guest check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Park opens earlier during peak seasons.

Policies Guests of all ages are welcomed at Discovery Cove®. Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who also is participating in the dolphin swim experience. This policy was established to ensure the cognitive and physical stature of the child. These factors are taken into consideration to ensure children are able to interact in a group social setting, accept instructions, and understand the trainer. Also, the physical size of the child is taken into account since he/she will be in water that is approximately 3 feet deep with large, powerful animals.
