This fun and delicious tour takes place in the heart of Manhattan's East Village and includes at least 7 different tasting stops. On this tour you will: Try some homemade Eastern European style delicacies like homemade pierogi and/or soup. Enjoy a juicy NY hot dog like a local. Have homemade kielbasi and great deli meats and rye bread! Savor some locally made ice cream and/or pastries. Taste a hot slice of NY style cheese pizza at an authentic neighborhood pizza joint. Satisfy your sweet tooth with an old fashioned Egg Cream!

Available: Sunday at 10:30am; Monday and Tuesday at 11:00am; Thursday and Saturday at 2:00pm; Friday at 5:30pm.

Location Tour begins at Union Square East (New York, NY). Please meet at the large black square sculpture located on 8th Street between Lafayette Street and 4th Avenue. Your guide will be wearing a red or maroon City Food Tours embroidered hat, shirt and/or jacket outside the Astor Place #6 (green) subway station. When you're on the train, you'll know you're at the right stop when you see K-Mart on the train platform. Take the LOCAL 6 train to the Astor Place stop. The meeting location is just upstairs. Or take the LOCAL N/R train to the 8th Street/NYU stop. The meeting place is 1 block east.

Participant restrictions

Children aged 8 through 12. We are sorry that we cannot accommodate children under 8 years old on tours.
Guests under the age of 17 must accompanied by an adult of at least 21 years of age.

Additional Information Parking can be extremely difficult in Manhattan. *Taking a taxi or public transportation is highly recommended. Parking garages are available on: Lafayette Street between 4th Street and Astor Place.

Policies There is a minimum of 4 passengers for Monday tours. If this minimum is not met the tour may be cancelled with no penalty. The tour runs regardless of weather conditions. In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability). Guests should reconfirm tour 48 hours in advance. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
