The tour starts with a visit to the Ggantija Temples. The megaliths are the first examples of built architecture and the world’s oldest free-standing monuments. They are considerably older than the Pyramids of Egypt. We than walk around the citadel situated in the centre of the island, from whose walls can admire the soft hues of Gozos undulating countryside. As the day draws to a close we go down the spectacular winding road to Dwejra, well-known for its Azure Window – the ideal location for watching the sun set below the horizon. To round off the evening, a relaxing dinner in one of Gozos restaurant.
