Cruise over the alien vista of Haleakala, the “House of the Sun” and see the terrain change right before your eyes. The top of the crater resembles a lunar landscape of barren, hardened lava, but gives way to lush open pastures and colorful tropical plants further down.

From Haleakala, you’ll follow the rugged shorelines of Northeast Maui to “Heavenly” Hana, home to over one hundred cascading waterfalls, rainforests and a dramatic coastline. Dozens of exotic plants and flowers carpet the fertile soil and can be found nowhere else in the world but in Hana. You’ll also view the beautiful Pools of Oheo and the rustic setting of Hana Town along the way.
