This tour is for those who like a little less soft in their "soft adventure". Enjoy the rugged beauty of the Colorado Rockies on this guided 4-wheel tour on back roads high above Colorado Springs. We’ll spend almost the entire tour on dirt roads and 4X4 trails high in the mountains in the Pike National Forest... as high as 11,200 feet above sea level!
If the weather is clear and beautiful we’ll be sure to take the top off our custom open-air 4x4 vehicles. This is our most remote and scenic activity highlighted by breathtaking views of alpine meadows, wildflowers, beaver ponds, and streams. Don’t forget your camera, as these memories will be cherished for a lifetime. Dreams become reality as you relax, take in the clean mountain air and enjoy the splendor of Pikes Peak.

Policies
Our Jeep tours take place in the wild. Each tour is a new adventure for both AOW and the guest. AOW cannot foresee all possible scenarios that may impede an otherwise successful tour. Tours involving mother nature combined with man made vehicles that take place in remote areas cannot be totally controlled. The environment includes stream crossings, boulders, rocks, trees, unpredictable weather, and other vehicles on the roads and wildlife that may be encountered. Each and all affect the outcome of your adventure. Mechanical breakdowns do and can occur from time to time. Drive shafts break on rocks, batteries jostle loose. Rescue times may be long and are part of the experience. All equipment is impeccably maintained and guides are well trained. Should you encounter an out of the ordinary experience count yourself lucky. Full fares will be charged for all tours regardless of outcome.
We recommend an athletic shoe, NO SANDALS, HEELS or FLIP FLOPS.
Local office contact information will be printed on your voucher.
If your hotel is not included in the pick up location, a central meeting location will be provided on your confirmation voucher.
All information requested must be supplied or booking is subject to automatic cancellation
