Look forward to...

Exploring the ultra-hip Cape Town before heading into the unknown.

Camping in a luxury pod which is connected to a communal living area pod where you'll eat and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation after a long day of adventure.

Flying over the unexplored mountains of Dronning Maud Land and setting down on Antarctica’s ice blue runway.

Here's an Antarctica experience that we love but as we know the place inside out, we can tailor any trip there to be just how you want it. Hope the below gets you inspired. Enjoy.

Never before has the phrase 'Once in a lifetime' rung so true. We've all heard of it and seen pictures of it yet, only a handful of professional explorers can actually say they've been - until now that is. Antarctica, vast plains of untouchable landscapes which have captured our imagination on 'Planet Earth' are finally within your reach. We kid you not.

let the adventure begin

Begin your expedition in Cape Town where you will meet your field guides and fellow voyagers. These professional polar explorers will be with you throughout the whole of this phenomenal 13 day voyage so you will always feel safe and comfortable in your new habitat.

your view over the vast icefields

From Cape Town you will catch a custom-designed plane bound for an 'Unknown International Airport', otherwise known as Antarctica. During the five-and-a-half-hour flight you will be greeted by 24 hour sunlight and fly over hundreds of iridescent blue icebergs before landing on an ice runway, becoming one of the very few people to set foot in Antarctica.

luxury camp and private travel

On arrival you will head to the luxury campsite, a custom built, eco camp with all the luxury touches one would want. Once at camp, it's up to you how you want to spend your time. You can take things easy by simply walking the coastline and taking in the huge ice cliffs or visiting the penguin rockeries. There is also a DC3 airplane on site for short flights - a great way to fully appreciate your enormous surroundings.

ice climbing like an explorer

For a little more adrenalin release, try ice climbing up previously unclimbed mountains, abseiling down the huge ice cliffs, skidoo riding or kite-surfing. Best of all (and our personal favourite) is the ultimate explorer experience, where you are driven deep into the Wolthat Mountains to spend the night in the 'Scott Camp', an exact replica of the pyramid tents used by the great explorer.

meeting the locals

Spend the night listening to untold stories of Amundsen and Scott and let your imagination run wild. After an incredible night without the need for 'I may be some time' quotes you will return to the luxury eco camp.

Set departure dates from November through to January and limited space make this trip all the more exclusive, so if you're looking for that 100% hair raising trip of a lifetime, this is surely one you shouldn't pass up.
