Ziptrek Ecotours is an exhilarating zipline adventure situated high above Queenstown. You'll hang out in magnificent tree huts, breathe pristine mountain air and glide through the treetops on a series of ziplines with spectacular views. Your knowledgeable guides will manage everything technical while you enjoy an educational tour with an environmental focus.
Faster, longer and finishing with a flying fox ride that descends 30 stories at speeds of up to 70kph, the Kea tour is a unique way to get down the mountain. This stunningly beautiful guided journey through ancient native beech forest comprises six breathtaking, tree to tree ziplines with outstanding alpine vistas; returning you to the bottom of gondola hill on a total high.
Our newest addition to the Ziptrek Ecotour more than doubles Ziptrek’s flying fox distance and gives those with an appetite for adrenaline the chance to take zip-lining to a hair-raising level. Zippers on the Kea Tour will fly down the hill for about a kilometer, the equivalent length of 10 rugby pitches.
The Kea Tour is a three-hour high-velocity 6-line adventure that includes a stunning 20-minute guided trek along a new extension of the local 'Tiki Trail', an ancient native Beech forest on our aerial tree-platforms. Experience the forest as never before.
