train at parajet hq near barcelona or wherever in the world you desire (we'll despatch a instructor wherever you need)
fly wherever your imagination takes you (the serengeti, the sahara...)
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a Parajet. Adrenalin-junkies around the globe are going mad for this new flying experience, and we know why. With a jet (that’s a paramotor for those in-the-know) strapped to your back and a glider wing (a bit like a kitesurfer) billowing above your head, this extreme sport is an incredible way to fly. No runway, hill, or licenses necessary, learning to Parajet is the only way to soar through the sky at up to 60 mph in your chosen location, literally free as a bird. The sky is no longer the limit, so get going.
We are proud to announce that you can now learn to Parajet with Black Tomato. Once you have mastered the knack of this simple, safe and easy-to-learn skill, why not take the next step and buy your own motor and take it with you on your travels?
Interested? OK, so how and where do you learn the ropes? It's your choice. We can whisk you out to Parajet HQ, based on Spain’s Costa Brava, for a week’s course or you can lean to fly wherever you want. Want to learn over the Serengeti during the migration or skimming over the dunes of the Sahara? Just let us know and we'll despatch an instructor and all the necessary kit to the location of you choice.
From the Monday to Saturday you will swot up on the basics of flying with our experts. You’ll learn the theory and how the motor works, taking tandem flights, and by the end of the week you’ll be launching yourself into the sky solo. Simple as that.
If you opt to train at Parajet HQ, you'll be staying at the Hotel Torremirona, literally steps from the flight school airfield, where you will be able to relax after a hard days’ flying with a round of golf on their two courses with stunning views of the Pyrenees. You are also in one of the best regions for skydiving in the world (the thermals in this areas slow your descent for a longer freefall) if rewind rather than unwind is your thing.
And if one week has you hooked, why not stay out for a second and take the intermediate course? This will teach you the necessary lessons (think precision landings, air law and cross-country navigation) to set you up for flying wherever you like without the need for an instructor. Before you know it you’ll be planning your next travels around the best global flying spots. A truly life-changing experience.
Interested in flying? The beginner's six day course is a great way to start. For more information or to make an enquiry, get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
