Take a day trip from Guilin along the impressionable Li River, twisting and turning through lush Chinese landscape that will have you 'snap happy' with the camera for the majority of the sightseeing tour! After some local, fresh catches for lunch on the way to Yangshuo, you will have the opportunity to indulge in a bit of shopping and maybe pick up some real bargains in pearl and jade, or fine Chinese paintings.

Itinerary This morning, we will drive about one hour to the pier to catch a cruise down the picturesque Li River. Cruise along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. As you take in the stunning scenery there's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. Between spectacular limestone peaks you'll see graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, and lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river. You may see fishermen gliding along on their narrow bamboo rafts and fishing cormorants. You can spend some time exploring the little town and wondering at the West Street. After you stretch your legs and see the sights, it's a bus trip back to Guilin to see the farms and countryside away from the river. End the tour and transfer you to the hotel. During today's tour, a Chinese cultural factory visit is organized.
