ABOUT THE NEW-YORK HISTORICAL SOCIETY A trip to New York wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the New-York Historical Society with four centuries of history and art – plus the only Children’s History Museum in the area. Look up to see bold graphic work by artist Keith Haring on the ceiling – then look down to see objects that are hundreds of years old in the cases beneath your feet. You’ll learn the stories behind the people and events that shaped our history.
