Learn about the past and present brewing industry in the Pacific Northwest, while sampling stouts, ambers, ales and other handcrafted beer at select breweries throughout the city. Sightsee through Portland’s downtown area, vibrant neighborhoods and scenic bridges in comfortable vehicles and leave the driving to our engaging guides.

Itinerary Experience Portland from a beer-lover’s perspective. Portland is home to 32 breweries within the city limits – 38 if you consider the entire metro area. That’s more than any other city on Earth!!! Sample stouts, ambers, ales and other handcrafted beer at selected breweries in the city. Learn about the past and present brewing industry in the Pacific Northwest. Sightsee through Portland’s downtown area, vibrant neighborhoods and scenic bridges in comfortable vehicles and leave the driving to our engaging guides. All of the breweries we visit are “micro” or “craft” breweries, producing less than 20,000 barrels per year. We will highlight several local breweries on our tour, learning about the beer-brewing craft. We will also visit one of Portland’s most alluring attractions – it’s majestic bridges. Throughout the afternoon our experienced guides will provide interpretation of the natural and cultural history of Portland. Because there are so many… our itinerary will rotate through the following featured breweries!

Below is a selection of breweries that we will be visiting on our tour. We will be visiting up to four breweries. All of our brewery partners are top-notch, and whenever possible we will arrange a behind-the-scenes tour of the operation as well as an opportunity to meet with the brewmaster!
