This tour will cross the mountains east of the city by a highway that offers breath taking views and beautiful landscapes of the volcanoes Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl, which can also be seen from Cholula, where we will visit and climb the largest pyramidal base in the world. The pyramid of Cholula which has a height of 64 meters and 400 meters on each side of its base being thus twice as large as that of Cheops in Egypt. From here we will admire the City of Cholula with its hundreds churches, one of which was built right there on top of the Great Pyramid.
Then we'll take you to see the impressive Church of St. Mary of Tonazintla indigenous Baroque, a breathtaking building, notable for its interior decorated in gold and wealth of its elements.
From there we head to the city of Puebla, located no more than 15 minutes’ drive from Cholula. Puebla is popularly known as the "City of Angels" there you can enjoy a tasty lunch, the gastronomic variety is rich in Puebla you can choose from a simple and traditional “ Semita” or the exquisite and laborious “mole poblano”.
Then we are going to have a walking tour through the beautiful historical center of this city, where you can see buildings from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century, also visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzman. Other points to go will Palafoxoiana Library, the forts of Loreto and Guadalupe, Alfeñique House Museum and the handicraft market where you can find beautiful works done in the traditional talavera or delicious sweets like sweet potatoes prepared on different flavors.
