This national park is absolutely breathtaking and there is simply no better way to enjoy the sights and sounds of Red Rock Canyon than from the seat of one of our 3 wheel scootercars! The scootercar allows two people to it side by side and enjoy each others company while taking in 360 degree unobstructed views... all the while having the wind blow through your hair and having the sun shine warmly on your face. Just twist and go... no clutches... no gears... no helmets or special license required. Yes, you can rent a car. Yes, you can hire a bus. Heck, there are tons of ways you can see Red Rock Canyon, but you didn't come to Vegas to do something you've done before!

Scoot City has hand-picked several stops along our tour to make sure you have the time of your life and can take back some memorable pictures as well. Every stop has an amazing back drop for picture taking. The tour starts in a very exclusive area of Las Vegas called Summerlin (named after Howard Hughes' grandmother). You'll have an opportunity to cruise through some really nice neighborhoods and truly understand that life does exist off the Las Vegas Strip.

After about a five mile drive through the middle of the Mojave Desert (of course on a paved road) you will experience the sheer beauty of Red Rock Canyon. Our first stop is the brand new $23 million visitor's center....which is very amazing and educational. Then we're off to at least three more stops in the canyon where you'll have a chance to see where professional rock climbers come from all over the world to climb, and you can even try a little hiking/climbing yourself. One of the most amazing views is when we roll up to High Point Overlook (we'll be almost up to 5000 feet elevation). You'll have expansive views of the southern part of the Las Vegas Valley with almost 70 miles of visibility looking out towards Los Angeles. As we continue to cruise through the canyon there is a good chance you'll see some wild burros and other wildlife.

Inclusion

Pick-up from hotels located on the Strip and the Golden Nugget; Guided Tour; Entrance fees and Bottled water - 4 bottles per car.

Hours of operation

Tour departs at 1:00pm (all year) and 8:00am (April - October). Pick-ups begin 1/2 hour prior to tour time. Please be ready then.

Duration

Tour is 4.5 - 5 hours.

Participant restrictions

You must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license to drive. Passengers must be at least 8 years of age. Max. height is 6'4; max. weight combined (2 pax) is 450 pounds. You must be in good physical health.

Additional information Please bring snacks, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen closed toe shoes and hats. During the colder months we recommend gloves, scarves, jacket and sweatshirt.

Policies

Please expect it to be at least 10 degrees cooler in Red Rock Canyon than on the Stip. Tour operates weather permitting. Scoot City will contact you at least one hour prior to tour time if the tour is being canceled due to rain. It is very unlikely that we will get rained out and the weather is quite often different at Red Rock Canyon than it is on the Strip.
