Aquatica SeaWorld’s WaterparkTM is set to make a splash for a second season with a combination of high-speed thrills, a relaxing beachside resort atmosphere, up-close animal encounters, and a brand new high-speed racing water slide called Taumata Racer®. Aquatica San Diego, located near SeaWorld in Chula Vista, Calif., opens Memorial Day weekend of 2014 and is open daily for the summer, then weekends only after Labor Day.

Participant restrictions

Guests who may be pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart, neck or back problems, motion sickness, recent surgery, or any other medical conditions may be affected by the features of the ride. Those under 42 inches are recommended to wear a life vest and must be accompanied by an adult. Life vests are required at many attractions based on height.

Policies Tickets are non-refundable and non-negotiable. Ticket is valid for unlimited visits to parks for 7 consecutive days from date of first use. Hard and soft coolers, glass containers, food such as sandwiches, meals, snacks etc., and flavored drinks may not be taken into the park. Water bottles may be taken into the park. For your convenience, picnic areas are available outside the park adjacent to the entrance/exit plaza. Loose articles are not permitted in the ride queue lines. Items must be left in a locker or with a non-rider. Aquatica San Diego is not responsible for lost or damaged articles. All bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the park. As a reminder, the following items are not permitted to be brought into Aquatica San Diego for the safety of our animals and our guests: weapons, knives, any other type of sharp objects, straws, large hard or soft coolers, and any hazardous items or materials.
