Florida Aquarium Explore A Shore: The Florida Aquarium's 2-acre outdoor water adventure zone lets the kids cool off while parents relax under the shade of the Cantina bar and grill. Water cannons, geysers and a climbing pirate ship adventure await children of all ages! Exhibits: From playful river otters to intimidating sharks, there are more than 20,000 aquatic animals and plants to see during a visit to the Aquarium. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo Come see the wild world of Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. With more than 1,500 animals, housed in 56 acres of lush natural habitats, it's a diverse collection that is suited for our local climate. With engaging interactive exhibits visitors can enjoy close, but safe contact with many species in the Zoo. Guests can see most animals in one of eight habitat areas. After your virtual safari, make sure you come to visit Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo! The Zoo offers a hands-on and educational experience with our interactive exhibits and habitats. The Zoo has several fun rides, for all ages, to enhance your Zoo visit. Splash down on the Gator Falls flume ride, catch a wild ride on the Tasmanian Tiger Family Coaster or bump, splash and spin on the all new Outback Bumper Boats! The Zoo offers two exciting water play areas designed to help your little ones cool off during your day at the Zoo. The Zoo offers many opportunities to get up-close and learn about animals. Part of our mission is education about the natural world and we offer that opportunity on a daily basis through our programs. Zoo Keepers hold fun lectures about the animals and their behaviors and also what it's like to be a Zoo Keeper.

Policies No outside food or beverages may be brought into the Zoo. You may however, receive a hand stamp for re-entry and picnic at one of the surrounding park areas. Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. Roller skate shoes may not be used inside the Zoo. No pets are allowed inside the Zoo. Trained service animals are permitted inside the Zoo. The Zoo does not offer pet boarding facilities. For the safety and courtesy of our guests and animals, smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Please consult your Zoo guide map for smoking locations.
