Location Meeting point: The Clothes Pin sculpture at the corner of Market and 15th Streets, opposite Philadelphia's City Hall. Finish point: Rittenhouse Square, Intersection of 18th & Walnut Streets.

Itinerary Your Philadelphia tour begins at the Clothes Pin sculpture at the corner of Market and 15th Streets, opposite Philadelphia's City Hall, the cultural and geographic heart of Center City Philadelphia. Head east and walk straight into a concert, where you'll hear a performance on the world's largest pipe organ (please note, the organ is not often played on Sundays, so if you want to hear it on the tour we suggest you book for a different day!). After the concert, we head to the historic Reading Railroad Terminal and to one of Philadelphia's most beloved markets. Here you can grab a snack and learn all about this rich local history behind this classic Philly spot. From the market, we head to Love Park for one of Philly's best photo ops and a chance for another bite to eat and if we're lucky - dessert at the cupcake truck (yes, such delicious things do exist!). Logan Square is our next stop, which we'll head to via a parkway lined with world flags - geography nerd alert! We'll walk into the breathtaking Basilica of St. Peter & St. Paul, across the square and the Swann Fountain, and into the grand lobby of the Franklin Institute. Your Philadelphia city tour continues to one of the newest attractions in Philly, a massive LED TV screen in Philly's Center City. From there, we enter one of Philly's biggest shopping and restaurant districts. You'll be introduced to an iconic Italian cheese shop, followed by a stop at the Philly Pretzel Factory for a snack of a hot soft Philly pretzel.
Next, the tour brings you to a spot nicknamed 'Avenue of the Arts'. Here, you'll get a sense of some classic and modern architecture from Philly's banks, hotels, theatres, and social clubs. You'll stroll into Midtown Village and view a few of Philly's fantastic public murals. After the murals, stop at one of Philly's newest theatres, then have the chance to cool down with water ice, a classic Philadelphia treat as we walk through the beautiful residential neighborhood of Rittenhouse. The tour concludes at Rittenhouse Square, where you can either continue eating, shopping, and exploring, or you local guide will be happy to give you directions back to your accommodation.

This is a child-friendly tour. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 inclusively are permitted on this tour. Children younger than 6 are permitted at no extra cost, but please make sure you inform our guides of this before you take the tour.

Additional Information A good pair of comfortable walking shoes is advisable. Make sure to check the weather report for rain! There are times when certain sites close and we can't visit. We will attempt to give you this information at the start of the tour where possible.

Policies This tour is offered on a "join-in" basis. Maximum group size is 12, but we can add another guide if the group exceeds this number. If you have your voucher, your booking is confirmed.
