Highlights / General details

The archaeological site of Tulum was built on top of a cliff at the edge of the Caribbean Sea. This area flourished at the end of the post-classical and contains buildings from the XII century. It was one of the most important trading ports of the time and one of the few Mayan cities still inhabited when the Spanish arrived. Our guide will take you around this archaeological site and will talk about the Mayan history of Tulum, as well as its buildings such as the Castle, the Temple of the masks and the god Chac. Then we continue to the natural park called "Xel Ha", so named because of the union of the sweet waters of the underground rivers and salty Caribbean. Within the water park, you enjoy the all-inclusive package.
