Viking Horse Riding Tour and The Blue Lagoon

Get acquainted with the Icelandic horse which is a breed that has remained virtually unchanged since the Vikings brought it to Iceland in the 9th century. Enjoy a one hour riding tour on the outskirts of the capital.

After the healthy riding experience, we head to the Blue Lagoon. Once there you have a variety of recreational options such as bathing in the milky blue water, massage and spa treatments or simply walking in the Blue Lagoon’s spectacular surroundings. For a unique experience indulge yourself in an outdoor massage or one of the spa treatments available.

Inclusion

Round trip bus transfers from hotels located in central Reykjavik; Guided horse riding tour.

Exclusion

Guidance on Blue Lagoon transfer; Entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon bathing area; Lunch and refreshments.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily; Hotel pickup at 9:00am and 12:30pm, Departs at 9:30am and 1:00pm. Return to Reykjavik is available at 3:00pm, 5:15pm and 7:00pm. Please inform the bus driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which departure you would like to take after visiting the Blue Lagoon. No tour departures on December 24, 25.

Duration

Driving time from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavik is around 50 minutes.

Participant restrictions

Not recommended for children aged 6 and under.

Policies

Entrance fee to the bathing area is not included in the tour price. Lockers are included in the price of the Blue Lagoon, towels and robes are available to rent for a fee.
