The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum collection contains over 15,000 objects that tell the story of lawn tennis as a popular pastime and competitive sport as well as the history of the global sporting phenomenon that is The Lawn Tennis Championships.
The collection began in the 1970s and is constantly growing. Artefacts date from 1555 to the present day and range from lawn tennis equipment to decorative and fine art as well as more unusual items such as tennis-themed toys and teapots. We are also very proud to display the winning kit from Andy Murray, 2013 British Gentlemen's Champion, the first in 77 years!
Other exciting developements include a complete renovation of the Trophy Room area, enhancing the showcase of these most prestigious and historic of tennis accolades. As well as an extended run of our hugely popular "Tennis on the French Riviera" exhibit.

Hours of operation
The Museum is open from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Last admission is at 4:30pm.
The Museum and Tour are closed on January 1, June 22 and 29, July 7-8, and December 24-26.
The Museum Tours do not run June 15 - July 12.

Please allow at least an hour for a Museum visit, and 2/5 hours for a visit which includes the Museum and Tour.
